AKT 4 - Gast

The collective AKT was invited to Club Hybrid, an open demonstrative building that will be a place of experiments and discourse in Graz. AKT brings a courtyard from Vienna to Graz and left as a gift of hospitality. The Gasthof establishes a gateway and a place that complements the Club Hybrid by its opposite. The courtyard is a space of tranquility. The representation of the demonstrative Club Hybrid consumes soil, excavates earth. AKT uses this earth to make a hill in the courtyard. Those who want decide not to go directly to the club, turn in the passage and come to the courtyard. The mound in the courtyard is walked on: People trample it. The rain makes it melt. At the beginning you can see the club from the hill. Later, the first plants grow and the hill becomes flat. In the courtyard, the meeting establishes encounter, unintentionally unexpected.
